When We Don’t Want to See
Sometimes it’s not reality itself that causes suffering, but the fact that we don’t want to see it fully,
We don’t tell ourselves the truth: about a relationship that isn’t working, about our body screaming for rest, about emotions we continue to ignore and so, in trying to protect ourselves, we tense up, the body holds on, it contracts, the mind takes over and we start living in a parallel reality made of excuses, justifications, illusions
The Body Already Knows the Truth
The body is the first to know, even before we realize it, it’s already registered everything, A truth we’re unwilling to admit shows up as a weight in the stomach, tension in the chest, pervasive restlessness. but as soon as we say to ourselves “yes, it’s true, this hurts me”,
“yes, this is real, I’m not listening to myself”, something begins to melt.
Lies as a Form of Mental Control
Not telling ourselves the truth is a subtle form of self-control,the mind, rather than feeling, continues to spin another story:
“It’s all okay”,
“It’s not that serious”,
“It will pass eventually”,
but meanwhile the body tightens, remains on high alert and you feel tired without knowing exactly why.
Telling Yourself the Truth is a Release
When you find the courage to be honest with yourself, everything rebalances, even if it hurts, even if it shatters illusions,
truth is not cruel , it’s like water: it flows, it cleans, it restores, the body relaxes, the breath feels full and the mind clears
One Truth at a Time, One Step at a Time
There’s no need to reveal everything at once, just start with one little step:
Admitting you’re tired.
Admitting that relationship makes you feel small.
Admitting you’ve been playing strong when you really needed to collapse,
Every small truth embraced frees a piece of trapped energy
Truth is Always Embodied
Telling yourself the truth is not a mental exercise, it’s an embodied gesture,a return home → into yourself with honesty, letting your body finally breathe in reality, because reality doesn’t hurt…
What hurts is avoiding it and every time you speak your truth, you come back home.
