Pleasure Begins When You Return to Your Body

If you don’t feel yourself, pleasure can’t find you.
Pleasure is not something you need to chase. It’s not a goal to reach, nor a prize to earn. Pleasure is already in the body. It’s already inside you.
The moment you come back to yourself, when you truly return to your body, something you had forgotten starts to reawaken. Not an ecstatic or euphoric high, but a fine, quiet pleasure —the pleasure of feeling life move inside you.Of being present in your breath, your blood, your skin.
But what makes us lose that connection?
Often we confuse deep pleasure with its louder substitutes.
Porn, the obsession with success,ego-driven power, likes, money, adrenaline.
All of these can bring momentary pleasure, but they’re directed outward —toward possession, excitement, accumulation.
True pleasure doesn’t accumulate. It softens, opens, and grounds.
And to feel it, we need to empty out. We need to let go of all the images our mind has builtaround what pleasure is “supposed to be”,
because as long as you’re in your head, pleasure won’t find you. It doesn’t know where to go.It has no place to land.
The body, on the other hand, knows.
It knows how to open without forcing, how to receive without gripping, how to enjoy without proving anything.
This isn’t theory, it’s a quiet intelligence that lives inside your tissues.
And when you come back into your body —even for just one minute —something silent but powerful happens: you stop chasing pleasure, because pleasure comes to meet you.
🧘♂️ Try this now.
Pause for a moment. No need to do anything.
Just feel:
– Your legs: can you sense your weight resting on them?
– Your chest: is it soft or held tight?
– Your breath: how is it flowing right now?
Don’t change it. Just feel it.
Pleasure isn’t out there. It’s in being with what’s already here.
🌿 A gentle closing.
Maybe, while reading this, you felt something shift —a sense of warmth, softness, or deeper presence.
That’s not an exception. That’s your body remembering itself.
The more you practice returning —even for just a few minutes a day —the more your body becomes a safe placefor true pleasure to unfold. The kind of pleasure that asks for nothing. The kind of pleasure that you are.
What you just read comes from a continuous practice of listening to the body, feeling, and inner transformation.
